Before the facility renovation in 1969-1970, Syracuse State School officials contracted with the firm of Bill Rothschild (Monsey, N.Y.) to comprehensively document the historic buildings by photography. The survey included comprehensive exterior and interior views of the main building, grounds, out-buildings, and other school facilities.
